三、 实例分析
要使学生完全地投入阅读教学中,首先要选择合适的阅读材料,即利用需求分析的理论,以学生为中心,教师在选择阅读材料和设计教学方法时应当基于所教学生的具体要求,充分考虑对象的具体特点。这样才能做到有据可循,有的放矢。
1.阅读材料的选择:
在本堂课中教师的选题内容有趣味性、知识性。高中阶段的学生已初步具备了以理性思维为特征的抽象思维能力,机械记忆和机械训练已难以激发他们强烈的好奇心和学习兴趣。只有那些令他们极感兴趣的话题,才能激发他们的阅读兴趣,已达到教学目的。例如,教师选择了体育类、电影类、时尚健康类等种种类型吸引学生的兴趣。而且,教师的取材篇幅适中,难度适中,生词较少。本次课堂中的所选择的材料,字数都在一两百字左右,除一篇任务型阅读外,学生基本都能在三五分钟内完成阅读。整理:WWW.11665.COM 。
篇幅不长不短,难度不高不低,内容新颖、丰富,文中的障碍即生词不能太多,这样的文章是学生们最欢迎的,也最能激发他们的阅读兴趣和阅读欲望。而在阅读教学中,只有调动其学生潜在的主观能动性,才能引导他们进行有效地阅读,因此达到其扩大词汇量,丰富语言知识开阔视野,开拓思路的目的,从而使他们能进一步的了解英、美等国的文化背景、生活习俗、思维习惯和英语的一些惯用语所使用的特殊背景,从根本上提高他们的阅读理解能力和英语运用能力,避免使英语语言学习陷入死记硬背、枯燥乏味的泥潭。例如,教师使用的一篇任务型阅读文章如下:
